- This is a Presolicitation notice only. Bid packages are not yet available. The estimated release date is December 27, 2006. The Department of Veterans Affairs will be issuing a solicitation for contractors to provide Home Oxygen Services to beneficiaries of the VA facilities located in Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 19 & 21. Contractors will provide delivery, set-up and maintenance of its own equipment and supplies; delivery, set-up and maintenance of Government equipment; perform patient education and provide regular reports. The following facilities are included in the solicitation: from VISN 19; The Eastern Colorado Healthcare System (Denver, CO); Grand Junction, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; Cheyenne, WY; Sheridan, WY; Montana Healthcare System (FT Harrison, MT). From VISN 21: VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System (Reno, NV); San Francisco, CA; Central California Healthcare System (Fresno, CA); Palo Alto Healthcare System (Includes the VA's in Palo Alto & Livermore); Northern California Healthcare System (Martinez, CA); Honolulu, HI (includes the Islands of Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, & Kauai). Award will be made on a facility basis. A facility is defined as a single VA Medical Center or a VA Healthcare System. Offerors will be allowed to submit an offer on a single facility or multiple facilities. It is anticipated the solicitation will be released on or about December 27, 2006.
