- Description
- The intent of this solicitation and any resultant Contract is to obtain services of eight (8) Type II Helicopters fully operated by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications for use in administration and protection of Public Lands. Failure to furnish accurate aircraft information as required by the solicitation may render your proposal unacceptable. Bid Item No. 1 - Designated Base: Bald Mountain, Directions: 19 miles east of Sonora, CA on Highway 108. Estimated contract period from June 12, 2007 through October 9, 2007. Bid Item No. 2 - Designated Base: Big Hill, Directions: Atop Big Hill N 28o 50.7" W 120o 24.5". Next to Ice House reservoir, 22 miles NE of Placerville, CA. Estimated contract period from June 17, 2007 through October 19, 2007. Bid Item No. 3 - Designated Base: Chester, Directions: Rogers Airport (O05) Chester, CA. Estimated contract period from June 18, 2007 through September 30, 2007. Bid Item No. 4 - Designated Base: Trinity, Directions: 1 mile southwest of Trinity Dam, CA on State Highway 105. Estimated contract period from May 28, 2007 through October 15, 2007. Bid Item No. 5 - Designated Base: Shenango, Directions: 25 miles south of Bozeman, MT. Exit 298 off I-90, South 25 miles on Highway 191, left at Squaw Creek road. Base is located 1/4 mile on left. Estimated contract period from June 20, 2007 through September 12, 2007. Bid Item No. 6 - Designated Base: Price Valley, Directions: Price Valley Helibase 12 miles northeast of New Meadows, ID, 6 miles west on Highway 95, 6 miles north on Price Valley road (Payette National Forest). Estimated contract period from May 15, 2007 through July 13, 2007 (Parowan Airport) and August 2, 2007 through September 30, 2007 (Price Valley). Bid Item No. 7 - Designated Base: Chuchupate, Directions: 25 miles southwest of Bakersfield, CA off Interstate 5 highway. Estimated contract period from May 15, 2007 through October 14, 2007. Bid Item No. 8 - Designated Base: Arroyo Grande, Directions: 25 miles east of Arroyo Grande, CA. Estimated contract period from Estimated contract period from June 1, 2007 through November 1, 2007. Contract duration is for one year from date of award, with the possibility of 4 one-year renewal periods. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. See Numbered Note 26.
