- Description
- The Contractor shall supply all labor, material, supervision, equipment and transportation to provide Tree Maintenance Services to include pruning, removals and stump grinding located at the United States National Arboretum (USNA), 3501 New York Avenue, N.E., Washington, DC in accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, pertinent clauses and wage rates. The Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with all Federal, District of Columbia laws, regulations, codes, licenses and directives. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 10:00 a.m., meeting at the USNA, Washington, DC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be set aside for 8a competitive, using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This is a request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about December 26, 2006. If you are unable to download the solicitation, a written request may be submitted to the Contracting Officer requesting a hard copy. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. Anticipated award date is January 22, 2007.
