The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA intends to issue a solicitation for portable Environmental Control Unit compressors with retrofit kits used in for temperature control of tent-based housing tents. The applicable item is NSN 4130-01-511-7193 or Keco Industries part number 120K1941-1. The exact part number is required. Numbered Notes 22 and 26 apply. The intended solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis with the resultant contract being a 5-year Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two (2) base years plus three (3) one-year Option periods. The base year quantities are estimated to be 500 each. The Option year quantities are estimated to be approximately 250 each per year for 3 years. The estimated value of this acquisition is $2,419,125 for the total 5 year period. The award will be based on the low price technically acceptable offer. Delivery will be made FOB Destination to New Cumberland, PA and is requested within 120 days after receipt of order. Solicitation SP0570-06-R-0045 is anticipated to be issued on 2 January 2007 with an estimated closing date of 2 February 2007.
