- Description
- The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for Liquid Carbon Dioxide, Liquid (Grade H) NSN 6830-01-526-5180, Est. Qty 14,400,000 pounds. The contractor shall provide all production, raw materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment and labor necessary for the delivery of bulk liquid carbon dioxide. Delivery shall be FOB destination into three Government provided storage tanks at Robins AFB, GA. The intended use of this product will be to recharge life raft inflation cartridges, run autoclaves that bond various parts together and to make dry ice pellets which are used to remove paint off various parts. In addition, the contractor will install a wireless telemetry system within 30 days of contract award for each of the three Government owned tanks. The contractor will lease each wireless telemetry system to the Government and will retain ownership of the telemetry system installed and will remove the telemetry system within thirty days after completion of contract. The telemetry system will be used to remotely monitor tank levels on all three tanks at Robins AFB, GA. The period of performance shall be from 1 Apr 07 through 31 Mar 2011. The resultant awarded contract shall be a four year, firm fixed price requirements type contract. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 20 Dec 06 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at WWW.fedbizopps.gov.
