- The Navy Oceanographic Contracting Office (NAVO) intends to award a sole source purchase order Teledyne Benthos Inc. estimated at approximately $80,200.00 to purchase additional deep sea ranging acoustic transponders that will support a load of 10,000 lbs. and is the exact fit and functional capabilities for the Autonomous Undersea Vehicles (AUV?s) and a complete acoustic deck set. The purchase order will have a two month period of performance. Teledyne Benthos Inc.?s acoustic release is currently being used throughout the Ocean Projects Department for consistency and compatibility issues during survey operations, battery system and extracting data from AUV?s. Delivery date required by January 15, 2007.
