- The 482nd MSG Operational Contracting Office, Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB), Miami-Dade County, FL is issuing a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6 for Refuse Collection and Disposal Services for HARB. Contractor to provide all labor, tools, transportation, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide containers and non-hazardous solid waste refuse collection and disposal services for HARB, Florida in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions and commercial practices as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) with the focus on safety and customer service. Contract period is 1 April 2006 through 30 Sept 2007 with four additional one-year option periods renewable each year. This acquisition is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and therefore unrestricted. The standard industrial classification code is 4953, with a small business size standard of $10.0M. A Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded. The projected date for availability of the solicitation package is on or about 10 Jan 07. DFARS 252.204-7004, required Central Contractor Registration will be incorporated by reference in this acquisition. Offeror must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration at the time of bid submittal. The offeror shall provide its DUNS or if applicable, DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will be make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors are recommended to initiate CCR registration and or complete your annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at: http://www.ccr.gov/ or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Additionally, the successful offeror will be required to submit invoices using Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). Information regarding WAWF-RA is available on the Internet at https://wawf.eb.mil. This will be a Request for Proposals (RFP).
