- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Texarkana, Texas. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 100 days - Estimated Maximum 300 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 120 visits - Estimated Maximum 360 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Dermatologist - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visit - Estimated Maximum 4 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / General Surgeon - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visit - Estimated Maximum 4 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Neurologist - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visit - Estimated Maximum 4 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Ophthalmologist - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visit - Estimated Maximum 4 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Orthopedic Surgeon - Guaranteed Minimum 4 visits - Estimated Maximum 12 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Otolaryngologist - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visit - Estimated Maximum 4 visits; Outpatient Institution Services /Psychiatrist - Guaranteed Minimum 8 visits - Estimated Maximum 24visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Urologist - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visits - Estimated Maximum 4 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Optometrist - Guaranteed Minimum 10 Sessions - Estimated Maximum 30 Sessions. The solicitation will be made available on/or about January 16, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about March 20, 2007.
