- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award to qualified small business or individual for the provision of Pharmacy Technician services. The services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the United States Penitentiary/Federal Correctional Institution (USP/FCI), Pollock, Louisiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirement contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract periods for all services will consist of a 12-month base year and four 12 month option years. The estimated number of sessions (a session equals one hour) is 1560 sessions for the base period, and 1560 sessions for each of the possible option periods. The solicitation will be available on or about December 21, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 24, 2007. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621399 and the applicable small business size standard is $6.5 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
