- *****ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities will be December 26, 2007. The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for tree planting and tubing of Government furnished tree seedlings in such a manner as to insure tree survival and growth. The contract includes tree handling, tubing (contractor furnished vexar tubes and bamboo stakes), and planting to provide the seedlings with the greatest chance of survival. The contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, services, permits, licenses, and credentials necessary to complete the work required. All units are located on the Middle Fork Ranger District, Willamette National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. Contract performance time is 11 calendar days.
