- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to solicit and award under the authority of FAR 12 and 13 for a commercial procurement of two (2) replacement modular marine sanitation devices for use on the Dredge McFarland. The two MSD units shall include machinery, valves, and controls for automatic operation. This procurement is for supply only and does not include installation. The contractor shall submit documentation bearing all USCG approvals upon submission of quote. A Requ est for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 11 December 2006 and the closing date for receipt of quote will be 21 December 2006. The intent is to issue a firm fixed price purchase order to a small business firm. The FedTeds system does not allow for o fferors to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can be performed through the FedBizzOpps system. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the following address: https://www.fed teds.gov on or after the issue date of the solicitation.
