- Procurement of 204 each ISO full open sided cargo containers, 20 foot L, 8 foot W, 8 foot 6 inches H, one full side opening with 14 gauge steel double bifold swing doors and NO locking steel double end swing doors on either end, corrugated steel ends and roof. 1 1/8 inch thick marine wood floors, forklift tested to 16,000 lbs. per 44 square inches, tie down steel lashing hooks, 5 each on top rail and 5 each on bottom rail of the back wall, 4 each recessed tie down rings on the side opening door side, at least one set of forklift pockets, minimum of two vents, colors to be: 50 each white, 50 each blue, 50 each gray, and 54 each reddish brown. Containers will be CSC certified I/A/W MIL-HDBK-138B dated 01 Jan 2002 (General Cargo), serialized with the USAF serial numbers provided, new or one-time used manufactured in the year 2006 or newer, and will be delivered in 90 days after the date of the order. Quotes will be based on all or none, as quotes on partial quantities will not be acceptable. The solicitation will be unrestricted. Containers will be delivered to Robins AFB, Alabany, Ga. and the customer has off-loading equipment. Copies of the RFQ may be obtainerd on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil, choose "search RFQ" and insert the solicitation number. Amendment 0001 has been issued on 12/09/2006 extending the closing date to the end of business on Thursday 12/14/2006, deleting clause DFARS 252.225-7001, "Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program" (JUN 2005) (41 U.S.C. 10a-10d, E.O. 10582) from the solicitation, and inserting clause FAR 52.247-64, "Preference for Privately Owned U.S. Flag Commercial Vessels" (FEB 2006) (46 U.S.C. 1241 and 10 U.S.C. 2631).
