Description

DESC: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. TECHNICAL DATA WILL BE AVAILABLE ONCE THE SOLICITATION HAS BEEN ISSUED. Drift Tube Module for the Chemical Agent Monitor (CAM); Part Number 442-070, NSN 6665-01-383-6257. The item to be procured is a Drift Tube Module assembly. This item consists of the drift tube module kit, PN 442-073, the drift tube module, PN 442-069, and the drift tube module disc, PN 442-771. This is a 5 year requirements type contract, with full and open competition. FOB is Destination. The Drift Tube Module will be used on the Chemical Agent Monitor (CAM). Estimated issue date is 14 July 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the in ternet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time s et for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. **************************************************************** This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ri a.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicit ation has been released to the internet. Manufacture of this item requires a Nuclear Regulatory Commission license. Proof of this will be required to be submitted with proposal. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (26-JUN-2006).
