- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Joint Program Office, 47123 Buse Rd., Patuxent River, MD 20670-1547 to provide for the development of increased quantities of Peculiar Support Equipment to include Engine Rinse Wand (2 ea), Set, foam Replacement, Fuel Cell (4 ea), Bladefold Actuator Test System (7 ea), Gage Blade Latch Rigging (3 ea), and Coupling Purge Engine (4 ea) for the V22 for delivery to NAVAIR Lakehurst Aircraft Support Equipment Staging Area, Rte 547 Bldg. 195 (Hangar 6) Lakehurst, NJ 08733-4851. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Firms that believe they can satisfy this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Navy in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Navy not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Navy. A solicitation is not available for this procurement. This effort will commence within approximately 30 days after the date of subsequent contract.
