Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids for the emergency asbestos abatement of the structure located at 287 New Vernon Road, Millington, NJ. This structure resides on the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. The work consists of the removal and disposal of approximately 6000 square feet of interior plaster walls, asbestos insulation, ceilings and wood lattes from the first and second floors. Disposal of the asbestos will be in accordance with the laws and regulations of the state of New Jersey. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238910. The size standard is $12 million. This procurement is set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Proposal must be submitted to USFWS, 300 Westgate Center Drive, Hadley, MA 01035. Attention: Gary Dupuis, Contracting Officer. Issue date for this solicitation is 6 December, 2006. There are no specifications for this project.
