- Description
- The Joint Vaccine Program (JVAP) requires an evaluation tool to discriminate between vaccine candidates that have proceeded through Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials and identify criteria to compare vaccines for the same Food and Drug Administration (FDA ) licensure indication. The Department of Defense (DoD) has an approved Capabilities Development Document (CDD) which defines performance parameters for developmental vaccines. These performance parameters will shape the criteria and metrics used to asse ss the vaccine programs. To ensure that industry best practices are utilized, the selection criteria used to govern decision planning must be relevant to the product, application, and the regulatory landscape to which they are being applied. The selectio n criteria will be used to evaluate potential candidates, facilitate comparative analysis and, assess the ability of each program to meet the technical and business case analysis criteria. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541690 with a size standard of $6.5M in average annual receipts. Proposals will be evaluated on a best value basis. Solicitation No. W9113M-07-R-0001 will be issued ON OR ABOUT 11 December 2006 and proposals will be due ON OR ABOUT 2 0 December 2006. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office.
