All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquistion of 1 NSN with various end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4720. See Note(s): 1, 9 and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for four (4) years. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOps on or about 06 December 2006 http:/dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquitioning for one 1G drawing item. This signifies that the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete and there are no technical data engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for full and open competition. The delivey for this acquisition will be on a FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus options years) shall not exceed five (5) years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside with full and open competition after exclusion of sources.
