- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for janitorial services in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-9A73-S-07-0001 . The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-13. Note: Scope of work packet can be obtained by contacting Jeannie Vaughn at (530) 226-2702 or by email, (see below). This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. The small business size standard is $15 million. The NAICS Code applicable to this RFQ is 561720. ITEM 001: Daily janitorial services for the Operations Building and the Depot Building at the Northern California Service Center (NCSC), 6101 Airport Road, Redding,CA. 96002. The contract time will be for 12 months, starting January 2, 2007, through December 31, 2007. EVALUATION INFORMATION: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Quotes in response to this solicitation will be evaluated using the following factors: (i) past performance of contractor (ii) technical proposal and (iii) price, in descending order of importance, and all are weighted the same. Contractor must meet all the requirements detailed within this solicitation. Proposal Preparation Instructions: The following provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-prices for Item 001: A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the Request for Quote (page 1); the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (pages 5-11) and Bid Proposal (page 24) , with their response. The following clauses also apply: 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items.
