- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consititutes the only solicitation; proposals are be requested a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is 1025691-06. This acquisition is issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. (iv) The associated NAICS code is 334419. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure. CLIN 0001: Synchrony Gateway Interchange Advanced Server (Maintenance Plan: STD) and CLIN 0002: Maintenance Sentinel Transaction Director - Annual Maintenance (Maintenance Plan: STD). (vi) Period of performance for CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002 is twelve (12) months from award date of order. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision are as follows: meets the specifications and low price. (viii) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items. (ix) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (x) Clause no. 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, as prescrived in 12.301(b)(4), insert the following clause: Contract Terms and Conditions Required ti Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (JAN 2005)(A) The Ccntractor shall comply with the following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses, which are incorporated in this contract by reference, to implement provisions of law or executive orders applicable to acquisitions of commercial items: 52.222-3, Convict Labor (June 2003) (E.O. 11755). 52.222-19, Child Labor-Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies(June 2004) (E.O. 13126). 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (FEB 1999). 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (APR 2002) (E.O. 11246). 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans,(DEC 2001) (38 U.S.C. 4212). 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (JUN 1998) (29 U.S.C. 793). 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and other Eligible Veterans, (DEC 2001) (38 U.S.C. 4212). 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (OCT 2003) (31 U.S.C. 3332). This requirement is intended to be awarded on a sole-source basis to the manufacturer of the software. Therefore, offers will only be considered from business concerns who are authorized to provide maintenance/support on above-referenced licenses. The period of performance will be twelve (12) months from date of award of order.
