- Description
- Remove existing ceramic floor tile,cement mortar, wall tiles up to 6' high. Remove the crumbling back-up board. Prepare the floor and walls to receive the new finish material. Place waterproofing membrane around the shower base and turn-up 6" at the wall. Install cement mortar (thick set) in the shower floor as required to provide a positive slope to the existing floor drain for adequate drainage. Install ceramic tile floor and silicone caulk around to provide a continuos water seal. Install new water-resistant cement board walls and thin-set ceramic tile walls. Grout and seal the floor an walls. All tile work must be installed in accordance with TCA ceramic tile installation guidelines and munufacturers recommendations. Approsimately: 25 shower stalls each 3'x3'x6'
