- Description
- The United States Agency for International Development, Afghanistan Procurement Support Office located in Bangkok, Thailand in support of the USAID Mission in Kabul intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee follow-on to the Rebuilding Agriculture Markets Program (RAMP) contract. The anticipated contract will be in support of the Accelerating Sustainable Agriculture Program (ASAP). The goals of ASAP are: (1) the increased competitiveness of Afghan agriculture products in domestic and export markets for high-value commodities, and (2) improved public policies and institutions in support of more competitive agriculture and agribusiness. The period of performance will be 40 months. This is a full and open competition. Proposals will be accepted from any responsible U.S. firm. A draft Statement of Work is being provided for comment by industry. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (22-FEB-2006).
