- Single award term contract for period beginning Date of Award and ending Novermber 30, 2007, plus up to four optional 12-month extension period(s) for the Department of Health and Human Services. Production area, restricted all production facilities used in the manufacture of the product(s) ordered under this contract must be located within a 30-mile radius of Rockville, MD. Copy pickup in Rockville, MD. Approximately 36 orders per year: Jan/Feb. Approx. 12 to 18 orders, May/June Approx. 4 to 8 orders, Aug/Sept. Approx. 6 to 10 orders, and with 20 to 1,000 copies per order and the Publications have approx. 30 to 600 pages (plus cover) per order, and Tab Dividers approx. 1 to 14 dividers per order. Sizes: Publications: 8-1/2 x 11 inches and Tab Dividers: 8-1/2 x 11 with ? inch tab. (overall size is 9 x 11 inches). Printing: Text prints head to head. Majority of text pages contain tables, some of which have screened areas. Cover 1 prints, and occasional order may require cover 2 to print, and covers 3 and 4 are blank. Category 1 ? Text and Cover print in black by duplicating/copying. Cateegory 2 ? The first four text pages print in 4-color process, the balance prints in black ink. Cover 1 prints in 4-color process. All printing to be done by Offset press. Tab dividers print in black ink on the tab portion only to be done by Offset press. Operations include composition, electronic prepress, printing (including four-color process), duplicating/copying, binding, packing, and distribution. Deliver f.o.b. destination.
