- SYNOPSIS: This is the third posting under solicitation number W911W4-07-R-0001; the first being a Sources Sought Notice posted 3 November 2006, and the second being a Special Notice Draft Performance Work Statement posted 14 November 2006. This publication serves as a notice that the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (HQ USAINSCOM) intends to issue a solicitation on behalf of the Chief Information Officer G6, Visual Information/Administrative Division to provide visual i nformation and multimedia services for conducting dominant intelligence, security and information operations for military commanders and national decision makers. Specifically, INSCOM requires the services of a contractor to provide full time, Visual Info rmation/Multimedia services support for the HQ USAINSCOM CONUS and OCONUS locations and its tenant organization, the Army Global Network Operations Security Command. The requirement entails the contractor to be competent in the support, repair, preventive and emergency maintenance to include all operational (and possible integration and engineering) aspects of audio, video and video conferencing equipment; provision of spare and replacement parts or equipment as necessary, cleaning, lubricating and making all necessary adjustments to ensure satisfactory operation of all equipment; minor upgrades; implementation and maintenance of multimedia and telecommunication software and firmware; and Computer Aided Drawing services. The anticipated period of performa nce will be a one-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods. A Single Award, Time and Materials- Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is contemplated. This solicitation will be made under the 8(a) Business Development Program (FAR 19.800). The NAICS code is 541512, Small Business Size Standard of $23.0 Million. It is anticipated that solicitation number W911W4-07-R-0001 will be issued on or about 15 December 2006. The exact closing date and time of the solicitation will be identified in the solicitation package. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to review the webpage frequently for any updates/ amendments and in case the solicitation is issued prior to 15 December 2006. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov and be 8(a) program participants. This will be an electronic solicitation release. No hard copies will be mailed. This synopsis is for information purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
