Description
CONTACT Richard Bock, Telecommunications Specialist,EMAIL ADDRESS: richard.bock@us.army.mil. This is a Market Survey to locate various sources of supply for a GPS Antenna, NSN 5985-01-498-3445. The olive green L1 antenna and 50 ft of RG 59 cable use d with the XL-DC Global Positioning System is only defined by the National Stock Number and Symmetricom part number 142-616-50.Required delivery is eight units. Detailed technical data such as engineering drawing, specification, and acceptance test procedu re for manufacture and acceptance of this unit are NOT available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate in writing to: Commander, U.S. ARMY CE-LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-C-SS (Richard Bock), Building 1202W, Fort Monmouth, N J 07703-5000. Response via electronic media using Microsoft Office 2000 products (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat (Portable Document Format) is acceptable and preferable. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can, in fact, supply this item that will be form, fit and physically, and functionally interchangeable and interoperable with the existing GPS Antenna from the previous supplier. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Government and be delivered on time.
