Description
Space and Naval Warfare System Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston has a requirement for material and incidental services to support the Interior Communication Voice System (ICVS) onboard US Navy Fleet ships. The Interior Communication (IC) system provides interior communications for ships telephone systems, announcing systems, damage control, security, command control, and administrative operations. The voice IC system includes the Integrated Voice Communication System (IVCS), Integrated Voice Communication Network (IVCN), MARCOM, AN/STC-2(V) systems, and Integrated Communication Advance Network (ICAN). Critical IC sub-systems are manufactured solely by Dynalec Corporation who holds the proprietary rights to all engineering designs, drawings, and configurations. This is a follow-on acquisition to Contract N65236-02-D-5111. Dynalec is the incumbent contractor. The acquisition strategy for this procurement is sole source to Dynalec Corporation, Sodus, NY. A fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with delivery orders for a base year plus four (4) one year option periods is anticipated for award. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about 15 December 2006 on the SPAWAR E-commerce website: https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil.
