- The work includes the replacement of Bridge 15 and incidental related work. The work shall be located at Bauer Road over Chopawamsic Creek at Quantico Marine Corps Base, Virginia. Incidental related work includes: approach roadway work; maintenance of traffic; Civil Utilities and Electrical Utilities; construction surveying; railroad flagging; and relocation of private and base utilities. The Estimated Cost of Construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The subject project is fully designed. The award will be based on the best value in accordance with the criteria of price and past performance. The estimated construction duration time is 540 calendar days from the date of award. This includes 15 days for the submission of payment and performance bonds and insurance. This is a Firm Fixed Price Construction project. The plans and specifications should be available at the Navy's Electronic Solicitation web site www.esol.navfac.navy.mil on or about January 22, 2007. This is an unrestricted procurement.
