- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for synthesis reagents (3-BHQ-1 CPG, 4x0.2um, item #: 20-5931-42, qty. 500; 5-Fluorescein Phosphoramidite, 0.25grams, item #: 10-5901-02, qty. 60; Bz-A-LNA-CE Phosphoramidite, 0.25grams, item #: 10-2000-02, qty. 2; 5-Me-Bz-C-LNA-CE Phosphoramidite, 0.25grams, item #: 10-2011-02, qty. 2; dmf-G-LNA-CE Phosphoramidite, 0.25grams, item #: 10-2029-02, qty. 2 and T-LNA-CE Phosphoramidite, 0.25grams, item #: 10-2030-02, qty. 2). Requested delivery to Patrick AFB, Florida is approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an award. This is a Sole Source with Glen Research Corp. IAW FAR 6.302-1. Glen Research Corp. is the only source capable of fulfilling the governments requirement as they are used exclusively as the manufacturer and distributor of Fam-6, BHQ CPG columns and locked nucleic acids by all other organizations participating in a cooperative research and development program of which MCA-B is a part. To change the source of the reagent during the examination period would seriously hinder the process by creating more process variables. Therefore, for quality control and program continuity purposes, Glen Research FAM-6, BHQ CPG columns ad locked nucleic acids need to be utilized. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 2899 with a business size of 500 employees and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 325998. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Glen Research Corp. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
