- Item (1) GE Part No. 68L284G04, GE IEC Modification Kits, Qty 25. Item (2) GE Part No. 682L925G01, GE IEC Modification Kits, DDG Unique, Qty 12 Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, intends to acquire the required LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine Modification Installation Kits and associated parts by placing a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N0010400G0102 or the subsequent follow-on Basic Ordering Agreement with General Electric Company, G.E. Aircraft Engines of Cincinnati, OH. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discret ion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
