- Little Rock, Arkansas District Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the fabrication and delivery of power plant intake gate roller train components in accordance with specifications and drawings. This requirement is for components only. Installation will be performed by the government. The solicitation will be available on or about 28 November, 2006. Bids will be due on 28 December, 2006. Anticipated award date is 5 January, 2006. Delivery will be required no la ter than 120 calendar days after receipt of award. The Government anticipates awarding one firm, fixed price contract using the lowest priced, technically acceptable section process. NAICS Code is 331111 which has a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This acquisition will be 100% set aside f or small business. Solicitation will be posted at: http://www.fbo.gov/ Vendors are requested to register at the same website in order to receive the solicitation, specifications, notice of amendments, etc. Electronic medium for submittal of offers wi ll not be allowed; all documents required for the offer, submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium.
