Description

The Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG) is seeking qualified vendors that qualify under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 532412, Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. The Texas Army Na tional Guard is anticipating the need to rent/lease various pieces of construction equipment for projects along the United States/Mexican Border from New Mexico to the Gulf of Mexico. The TXARNG anticipates the need for rental/leased equipment for up to 2 4 months, but estimates that equipment will be on-site less than 4 months at any one time per location. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR A FORMAL PROPOSAL OR A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. This notice is provided as information to the marketplace and is an invitation for an expression of interest and demonstration of capability to perform the anticipated work. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. All interested parties shall respond to this market survey must submit their responses via FedBizOps no later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, October 24, 2006. All responses must provide a return e-mail address, mailing addres s, telephone number and facsimile (fax) number and a point of contract. TELEPHONE AND E-MAIL RESPONSES AND INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS MARKET SURVEY SHOULD BE SENT VIA FEDBIZOPS. This is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The Texas National Guard will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME.
