- SOLE SOURCE AWARD The United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service intends to award a sole source Purchase Order for technical consulting services to Dr. Dale Bucks. The requirement is to provide advice, counsel, and assistance for national and regional research programs in irrigation, drainage, water conservation, water quality, and integrated soil and water resource programs related to existing and emerging agricultural and consumer problems. A sole source award is contemplated due to the unique knowledge and expertise required by the Government. Dr. Dale Bucks is the only known contractor available who possesses the required institutional knowledge of applicable USDA/ARS soil and water programs and the task forces, committees, and teams involved in those programs. The synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. Please submit technical data to Shelia Tucker, Contracting Officer via email at Shelia.Tucker@ars.usda.gov, by 9am EST on Monday, November 27, 2006. The Government will pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
