- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, NY intends to make a single award to a responsible quoter for a non-personal service contract for a Business Computer Applications Instructor, during the evening hours, to the inmate population located within the confines of a male federal correctional facility. The requirement for Business Computer Applications Instructor shall consist of one position working an estimated 5 hours per week. The individual will instruct two (2) two-and-one-half hour (2 ?) sessions , per week to a maximum of 104 sessions per year. Ordinarily, classes will meet 5:30 - 8:00 P.M., two evenings per week, Monday through Friday. Alternate times may be available based upon the institution?s needs and mission. The schedule will be mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the Supervisor of Education. It is anticipated that this award will be awarded for the base year and four option years. The contractor must have a background in the instruction of Business Computer Applications, having a minimum of three years experience and/or education training in this field. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 4, 2006, and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov.
