- Description
- The U. S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a requirement for transportation services for DHS and its components in the Washington DC Metropolitian Area. DHS intends to acquire these services using competitive small-business set-aside procedures. The solicitation will result in DHS awarding a multiple award, fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract(s) with a base period of one year and four option periods of one year each to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The successful offeror(s) must provide transportation services for daily scheduled shuttle bus services over fixed routes, and sedan/courier services in the DC Metro area, including Reagan National, Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) and Dulles International Airports, and outlying rural and residential areas. The requirement involves providing and maintaining all management, supervision, manpower, training, communication equipment, supplies, licenses, permits, certificates, insurance, and vehicles to accomplish transportation services in accordance with the Request for Proposal. Award(s) are anticipated to be made on or about February 2, 2007. The applicable NAICS Codes are: 485999 - Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation and 485320 - Limousine Service is 561612. The solicitation will be published on or about November 20, 2006 and with a closing date of December 12, 2006. A pre-proposal conference is planned on or about November 30, 2006.
