- This is amendment 0001 to COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION number N00244-06-R-0070 for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12., using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items and authority of FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation amendment and is the only notice and solicitation amendment that will be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation amendment will be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-13 and DFARS Change Notice 20061004. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 424410 and the Small Business Standard is 500 Employees. This is an unrestricted, competitive procurement action. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Specialty Dietary Subsistence/Nutritional Food Products in accordance with the Schedule of Supplies and the Statement of Work for the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA. The Period of performance is Date of award through twelve (12) months for the base period with four (4), one ?year, Option periods. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the schedule of supplies, incorporate Attachment (1) Revised Schedule; to re-open the solicitation and extend the closing date to 03:30 p.m. on November 28, 2006. All qualified, responsible businesses sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the agency. Questions may be submitted via e-mail at email address: penny.brown@navy.mil. Offerors must be registered in the CCR database t o be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed o n-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. DOD components will no longer issue awards to Contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms, and completion of FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications . Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the Offeror to meet all specifications and requirements of the solicitation. Contractors should regularly access the NECO and FEDBIZOPPs Web Sites to check for amendments to the solicitation.
