PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AND TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation for a firm fixed price construction project to furnish all labor, equipment and materials and install seventeen garage doors to two maintenance buildings to increase energy efficiency, with an option to replace seven windows on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Milepost 382.3, Oteen Maintenance Area, Asheville (Buncombe County), North Carolina. The work includes but is not limited to removal and disposal of current wooden doors and reinstallation of commercial insulated metal garage doors to include any trim work required. Work may also include removal and replacement of seven 45 inch x 80 inch windows. Contract duration will be 33 days following Notice to Proceed. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The NAICS code for this project is 238350 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. In accordance with FAR subpart 36.204, the price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
