- 28-, SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-07-R-0161, OC-ALC/CBSG/PKB, TINKER AFB OK 73135-3030, for addition information contract Irene Mireles/CBSG/PKB/405-734-8775, Email: Irene.mireles@tinker.af.mil. This is a Solicitation for quantity variation of 376 through 751 and 752 through 1127 each, NSN 4710-01-429-3494, Metal Tube & Fittings, and Part Number: 4083185. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside requirement. Form/Fit/Function: Supplies air to #4 bearing compartment to be used as bypass air. Material: Predominant material of manufacture is AM5666 Nickel Alloy. Dimensions: Approximately 1.212 inches diameter x 6 inches length. Destination: Tinker AFB OK, Delivery: Delivery is to begin on February 28, 2007. The approximate solicitation issue date will be December 4, 2006. The anticipated award date will be 31 December 2006. A first article approval is required on this requirement. To obtain technical data on this item go to https://www.fedteds.gov/. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICAITON. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government property qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or any other third party. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
