- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quotation and the solicitation number is M67001-07-Q-0015, documentation number M20940-07-SU-FMTU1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is small business set aside. The North Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is W023. Size Standard (Not to exceed) 500 employees. Rental period of performance from 01 DEC 06 thru 14 MAR 07 (104 days) Item# 0001: 4 ea SUV, full size, 4x4, 4 door, 8 passenger Item# 0002: 3 ea truck, pickup, full size, 4x4, 4 door (no suicide doors) Item# 0003: 2 ea van, 12-passenger Quotes other than FOB destination will be rejected. Vehicles will be delivered to MCB Camp Lejeune, NC if vendor is located outside the Jacksonville/Swansboro, NC locale. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter, whose quote conforms to the solicitation and is considered the best value. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: price, delivery, and past performance. Quotations shall be submitted via e-mail to deborah.woleslagle@usmc.mil, faxed to 910-451-2193, or hand carried to the Camp Lejeune Contracting Dept., Bldg 1116, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547. The quoter should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to be considered for award (NO EXCEPTIONS). Register at http://www.ccr.gov/.
