Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government's intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis with DNE Technologies, Inc., 50 Barnes Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492-5920, for the items listed below. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price commercial type contract. The Contract Line Item Numbers and descriptions are: CLIN 0001 - Extended Warranty for P/N 97670000-CV-MCU Chassis - two (2) year additional warranty for a total of three (3) years (24 each); CLIN 0002 - Extended Warranty for P/N 21001117-CV-FOM-MODULE - two (2) year additional warranty for a total of three (3) years (48 each); CLIN 0003 - Extended Warranty for P/N 97670014-CV-HTU STANDALONE - two (2) year additional warranty for a total of three (3) years (32 each) - to include shipping if any. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, DNE Technologies, Inc. is the only known source capable of satisfying the Government's minimum requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. Anticipated award date is 27 November 2006.
