Description

It is the Department of Army's intention to award a modification for additional computer equipment and audio and video equipment on award W81XWH-04-P-0299 to Capitol IT Solutions. The SOW is to expand the provision of network operations and engineering support and other advanced infrastructure services, maintenance, and support to a metropolitan, Los Angeles, California bases TATRC field office charged with helping manage congress ionally- mandated, advanced medical technology projects being executed by partner organizations located on the West Coast and in the Pacific basin. This modification is to upgrade the systems for the West Coast TATRC office. The office needs 8 new high-e nd laptops for lease to TATRC to fill the requirements for the staffing increase. These machines are required to be configured in a similar manner to the systems located at TATRCs main office in Fort Detrick for DITSCAP. The VTC equipment needs to have an ISDN connection, which requires the use of an NTI network device. The audio and video equipment will be used for presentations. The Plasma and LCD screens are used for in-house meeting and for VTC meetings. The Projector is used for when the number o f participants requires the use of an off-site facility. The two audio receivers are to be used for in-house meetings. The printers are used for documents and presentations; the staff for day-to-day activities and communications uses the mobile devices.
