- The purpose of this amendment is to: Change commercial laboratory requirements, and correct the description of the geographic boundaries of the South Pacific Division to include portions of New Mexico and Texas. REPLACE: Military boundaries include CA, AZ, NV, and UT while civil boundaries include CA, OR, NV, UT, AZ, WY, and CO. WITH: South Pacific Division provides federal and military engineering support in CA, AZ, NV, UT and NM. It also encompasses watersheds in parts of CO, OR, ID, WY and TX. REPLACE Note: for testing, the Contractor shall use an independent commercial laboratory that has been validated by abreviated audit by the Corps of Engineers, Material Testing Center (MTC), for the required test methods. WITH: Note: for testing, the Contractor shall use an in-house laboratory, or an independent commercial laboratory, that has been validated by abbreviated audit by the Corps of Engineers, Material Testing Center (MTC), for the required test methods. The response date for this announcement remains unchanged.
