- This notice is released to announce a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans requirement for assorted bushings, one pin and one shaft for hopper doors on the Dredge Wheeler. The Request for Quote is for a firm-fixed price supply contract to be competed under solicitation W912P8-07-T-0012. This action is UNRESTRICTED under NAICS code 336611, size standard 1,000 employees. The RFQ and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal B usiness Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments, updates, offerors, library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbiz website. Any communications must identify the RFQ number, W912P8-07-T-0012, company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call request will be accepted. The anticipated solicitation release date is 16 November 2006 with a due date of 05 December 2006. NOTE: Offerors must be registered with the Central Cont ractor Registration (CCR) it is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
