- The US Army's Product Manager for Crew Served Weapons, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement for 35,000 trigger block/safety kits (manual safety); 5,000 re-designed triggers, and 5,000 bolt latch releases (lever manual control) for the .50 Caliber M2 Heavy Barrel machine gun. Picatinny Center for Contracting & Commerce, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price contract with options on a sole source basis to General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products (GDATP), Burlington, VT, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This is not a Request for Proposals; the estimated solicitation issue date is 15 December 2006. The above response date is only an estimate.
