This is a Repair Requirements One Year Basic with 4-One Year Options Solicitation for a BEQ of 50 each (Basic USAF), 3 each (Basic FMS), 104 each (1ST & 2ND Option Year I & II ? USAF), 3 each (1ST, 2ND, 3RD and 4TH Option Years I through IV? FMS), 77 each (3RD & 4TH Option Years III & IV ? USAF), NSN 2840-01-443-4069, F100-220/220E Aug Combustion Chamber Liner, and Part Number: 4083170 and a BEQ of 3 each (Basic USAF), 3 each (Basic FMS), 6 each (1ST & 2ND Option Year I & II ? USAF), 5 each (3RD & 4TH Option Year III & IV- USAF), 3 each (1ST, 2ND, 3rd and 4th Option Year I through IV ? FMS), NSN 2840-01-461-3767, F100-229 Aug Combustion Chamber Liner, and Part Number: 4084715-1. Destination: Tinker AFB OK and FMS, Delivery: Delivery is being 45 after receipt of a reparable. The approximate solicitation issue date will be December 1, 2006. The anticipated award date will be 31 January 2007. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICAITON. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government property qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or any other third party. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
