- Radiation therapy services to be provided for VA Connecticut Healthcare System patients. Services are to be provided at the contractor's facility. The contractor shall be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO); supplemented by specific standards for radiation oncology developed by the American College of Radiology (ACR), American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and/or other applicable guidelines. The contractor shall have at least one facility within a 50 mile radius of VA Connecticut's West Haven Campus facility located at 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516. Services will be provided on an as needed basis. Performance period will be for one year from date of award. Solicitation package will include two additional option year periods. NAICS code 621111 applies to this procurement. The solicitation package (approximately 39 pages) can be viewed or downloaded, at no charge, from the link on this page (if no link is shown then solicitation has not been posted yet). Solicitation shall be posted on or about November 17, 2006. Should interested parties wish to obtain a hard copy of the solicitation package, it is available for a non-refundable fee of $40.00, payable by certified check or money order to VA Connecticut Healthcare System.
