Description

Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is 636A6-01-07.The VA Central Iowa Health Care System, Des Moines Division, Des Moines, IA is soliciting bids for Miscellaneous Trash and Non-edible Garbage Removal Services for the VA Central Iowa Health Care System, Des Moines Division, 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, IA. This procurement is full and open competition. In accordance with the terms, conditions , provisions and specifications of this IFB, the Government intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract for the period The contract period is January 1, 2007 through September 30, 2007, with 4 one-year renewal options (1 Oct through 30 Sept during follow-on years) subject to the availability of FY funds.
