- Federal Occupational Health Services (FOHS), through the Division of Acquisitions Management, Program Support Center (PSC), Strategic Acquisition Services (SAS) intends to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Dell Marketing, LP. 1 Dell Way, Round Rock, TX 78682. The purpose of this acquisition is to renew maintenance agreements on over 300 Dell OptiPlex GX270 computer systems for an additional two years. The Dell maintenance agreements will provide Next Day Business, Gold Tech Support and "Keep Your Hard drive" support to FOH computer systems across the nation. Dell's Gold Tech Support offers high-priority rapid problem resolution, allowing users to bypass the most basic troubleshooting and wait-times in order to efficiently resolve issues. Dell's "Keep Your Hard Drive" support allows the user to keep a malfunctioning hard drive in order to maintain control over sensitive data while receiving a replacement drive. Dell is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment and is the only entity that can issue warranty agreements with the capability to provide Gold Tech Support and "Keep Your Hard drive" support. This proposed requirement for which the Government intends to solicit only one source is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in a written narrative format detailing the concern's capability to meet the objectives of this requirement. Capability statement may be sent via email Lauren Kunze at lauren.kunze@psc.hhs.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for proposal. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such documents will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received from capable businesses within 15 days from the date of this announcement, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the award to Dell Marketing, LP.
