Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 01 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR LASER TRACKER SYSTEM. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to add the Specifications. Specifications for Laser Tracker System 1) The Laser Tracker Measurement Workstation shall be certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and ISO-9001 registered. 2) The Laser Tracker System shall have a non-heat emitting sensor head that creates no measurement errors from vibration during high speed movements or from temperature gradients created by the sensor head. 3) The Laser Tracker System will have a robust housing with active temperature control that protects optics and electronics from external temperature deviations and dust. 4) The Laser Tracker System shall have built in precision encoders for horizontal and vertical angle measurements, with automated beam lock-on. 5) The Laser Tracker System shall provide fully reliable operation through a video camera. 6) The Laser Tracker System shall be capable of absolute distance measurement (ADM). 7) The Laser Tracker System shall be compatible with and enable future addition of a laser scanner to the system. The future combined system must be capable of surface matching, 3D-data reduction mesh creation and manipulation, along with programmable data post processing. 8) The System shall be capable of 3 dimensional feature and contour measurement at a distance of 40 meters. 9) The Laser Tracker’s computer system shall be capable of high level graphics computing with high resolution graphics computer hardware and Software supporting the measurement system, with a color printer, and 21 inch high-resolution monitor. 10) The Laser Tracker System shall have a measuring rate of at least 3000 points per second. 11) The Laser Tracker System shall have an angular resolution of 0.14 arc seconds or better. 12) The Laser Tracker’s measurement parameters shall have a distance resolution of 1.3 microns or better, a distance repeatability of +/- 2 microns or better, and a distance accuracy of +/- 0.5 parts per million or better. 13) The Laser Tracker System shall have an integrated ADM sensor with at least a 25 micron accuracy within 40 meters. 14) Laser Tracker workstation shall be transportable for continuous powered use of the tracker during transport with swivel/lockable wheels and a dust cover for the system. 15) The System shall have a calibration kit, consisting of: motorized rotatable reference bar with integrated counterweight; magnetic reflector mount for corner cube; reference bar to stand adaptor; 2 ea. industrial tripod with centering columns. 16) The System shall have a Laser Tracker stand with a 15" base tube and plate. 17) The System shall be capable of monitoring the measuring area for humidity and temperature and shall be capable of alerting the operator of any change in the environment that will affect the measuring accuracy of the measurement system. 18) The measurement system shall be capable of remote control operation with a CCD camera kit, view finder and monitor. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on November 15, 2006.
