- Sources Sought Notice for Interior/Exterior Window Washing at the Sasabe Port of Entry, Sasabe, Arizona THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT AND IN NO WAY OBLIGATES THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD ANY CONTRACT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS TO SEEK QUALIFIED SMALL, VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS, SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS, SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS, WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS, AND HUBZONE CERTIFIED SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES TO PROVIDE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR WINDOW WASHING AT THE SASABE PORT OF ENTRY IN SASABE, ARIZONA. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. AFTER REVIEW OF THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT MAY BE PUBLISHED IN THE FEDBIZOPPS WEBSITE. NOTE: A SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE. RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST TO BE ADDED TO A PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS LIST OR TO RECEIVE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. BACKGROUND The Sasabe Port of Entry is located in Sasabe, AZ at the international border with Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico. The main site functions include primary and secondary non-commercial vehicle, pedestrian inspections and commercial vehicle inspection. The support facilities for the non-commercial vehicle and pedestrian functions include a main administration building that has historic potential status, with a primary and secondary inspection building with a head house, garage and canopies, and commercial vehicle inspections that include a truck inspection facility. Total facility is 14,511 rentable square footage. In addition, a modular building has been located at the port to house Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) personnel. DHS-US Customs estimates traffic from Mexico in 2002 consisted of: 1,666 trucks, 38,618 POV's, 93,907 pedestrians and passengers. The sole current tenant in this small facility is DHS-CBP (Customs, Border Protection). The border station is isolated with little traffic. There are twenty four (24) windows at the facility that will require cleaning one time on an annual basis. Additional cleaning may be required on an as needed basis. PURPOSE The purpose of this announcement is to determine the availability of small businesses capable of providing the services outlined above. Statement of interest shall be e-mailed to GSA, PBS, Property Management Branch (9PMF), Attn: Mr. Armando Santos, at armando.santos@gsa.gov within 10 working days from the date of the synopsis. Telephone requests for information will not be accepted. This notice is to help the GSA in determining potential sources only. All information is to be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. Firms responding must reference 9PMFT-07-0001 and indicate whether they are small, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, and/or Hubzone certified small business as defined in FAR Part 2 and 19.
