- Description
- The General Services Administration intends to award a contract for a firm-fixed price performance based contract for elevator maintenance and related work located at the Sidney L. Christie U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building in Huntington, West Virginia. Elevator maintenance services provided under this procurement will be in compliance with the ?National Elevator Industry, Inc.?s (NEII), Building Transportation Standards and Guidelines (NEII-1-2000, Part 7, Maintenance Guidelines)?. This contract will have a base period of three (3) years and two option periods of three (3) years each, a total of nine years. The estimate dollar value for the procurement is between $200,000.00 and $400,000.00. The Contractor will be required to submit a Preventive and/or Predictive Maintenance Program (PM Program) for evaluation. It expected that this PM Program be designed to accomplish GSA?s mission to provide high quality elevator services as measured by: operation consistent with stated elevator performance measures; safe operation of equipment systems and components as required by ASME A17.1 Code; and consistent with maximizing the equipments useful life while minimizing downtime. The contractor's key personnel will be evaluated as part of this solicitation. The Project Manager (PM) responsible for the management and scheduling of work to be performed under this contract shall possess at least four (4) years of recent experience in the management and kind of elevators to be maintained under this contract. The Elevator Mechanics directly engaged in the work accomplished under the contract shall possess a minimum work related experience in the elevator trade of at least four (4) years of recent experience in the kind of elevators to be maintained under this contract. Resumes will be required and evaluated. This project is unrestricted and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments via this website. It is essential for offerors to register on the Solicitation Mailing List for this solicitation to receive notification of any/all amendments and notifications. Offerors MUST be registered in the Contractor's Central Registration (CCR) database in order to participate in this procurement. The website for CCR is (http://www.ccr.gov). The solicitation will be available on or about 11/21/2006.
