Description

The contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and performance necessary for construction of 1.912 km of roadway including grade, drain, paving, and miscellaneous construction for Project J51-638-228-(354)2&3 located on the Coyote Valley Rancheria in Mendocino County, CA. The Bureau of Indian Affairs requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract. This is a full and open competition acquisition. Period of Performance is 180 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Interested bidders are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by facsimile, Fax No. (505) 863-8382, Attention: Lynelle Benallie, Contract Specialist. Twenty-five (25) sets of solicitation packages will be available on first come, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Technical inquiries must be submitted in writing ten (10) days before the bid opening date. Bid opening date is scheduled at 2:00 P.M. (local time), December 21, 2006, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, 301 W. Hill Ave., 3rd Floor Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
